Positive Posters is an Australian-based non-profit organisation that, with our community of designers, aims to raise international awareness for global social issues. We achieve this through an annual poster competition giving our community the opportunity to get together and have their say on a social issue or idea. Our community was founded upon our belief in the unrivaled ability of designers to create impact, communicate and spark revolutions.

The Story of Positive Posters (Short version)
Two guys from Australia met in Japan in January 2009. They had similar ideas about the world, social issues and design. They came back home and one of them had an idea to cover some cities in posters. They got their friends and colleagues together, made lots of phone calls, had a party, made some presentations and ran a competition. More people got involved and another competition happened in 2010. We want to build the best online resource possible that will allow designers to have a positive impact on social issues.
