We were stoked to see an article on FastCompany.com this morning announcing that the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) will launch "Design for Good", a program that will encourage it's 20,000 members to donate 5% of their time to social and civic causes.
This is such a brilliant initiative. We are really looking forward to seeing what comes out of studios that take part.

In April 2009 I wanted the graphic design community to help support social issues. The 2009 comp received 339 entries from 52 countries. The 2010, 1,518 from 76.
This year, 2011, we are bring the comp back and making it bigger and better so you can have the opportunity to punch life in the face.
A big shout out to all of the designers and artists who donated their time to make prints for the Queenslake Letterpress Exhibition happening on Thursday 4th March at Kerbside, Queensland. This is such a great idea and we...
